Anne Saphore is a mixed-media artist.

Born in Nowra, Australia in 1957 Anne moved to Fiji shortly afterwards.  In 2009, Anne became a student of art and began to learn how to paint with oils. She quickly developed an interest in quilting and learnt how to match fabrics and patterns to produce useful items such as bags and quilts.

Anne's love of art only grew from there and she eventually moved into Mixed Media art, combining different mediums such as collage and acrylics. Anne's art often reflects nature and the environment in which she lives. She has exhibited her art in several Art Exhibitions in Fiji and has been published in Katonimana - Imago Mundi - ‘Luciano Benetton Collection’, of over 140 works that tell the story of the past and the future of art in the Pacific.   She has also collaborated with Ghost of a Dream on a video project, Aligned with the Sun.

Anne is passionate about her art and continues to create beautiful pieces with her unique style. She currently lives in Fiji and is an inspiration to many.
